We recruit volunteers who use their skills and talents they have learned over the years, or develop new ones while serving in a variety of volunteer activities within the community. RSVP volunteers choose how, where, and how often they want to serve. Volunteers receive pre-service orientation, training from the organization where they will serve, and supplemental insurance while volunteering.

Redbank Valley Trails Association Sandra Mateer [email protected] http://www.redbankvalleytrails.org/ Our mission is to promote the conversion, maintenance, and management of the railroad right-of-way that runs along Red Bank Creek from the Allegheny River to Brookville into the Redbank Valley Trail for recreation and fitness use. The Association shall promote preservation and protection of the natural resources found along the right-of-way and recognition of sites of historic significance. Volunteers are doing the majority of the improvement work with donations of time, material and equipment. The trail is becoming a mega trail with connections to the Armstrong Trail, the Great Allegheny Passage, Erie to Pittsburgh and possibly to Ridgway and beyond in the PA Wilds.
