Brookville Civic Club   Brandy Hergert  brandynick@comcast.net   A local group of Community minded ladies that work to keep our community growing.  We hold fundraisers to raise money to give it back (where it all stays in our local community!)  We also participate by donating our time to many events of all ages.

Firefighting is not for everyone, but volunteering can be!! The Brookville Volunteer Fire Company offers a number of opportunities to serve your community through the volunteer fire service.
The Brookville Volunteer Fire Company is the primary fire service provider for Brookville Borough and provides mutual aid to the surrounding communities, responding on average to 250 emergencies a year while participating in training and fundraising activities.

Community Action Inc. Senior Corps-RSVP   Janeen Love   _jlove@jccap.org   814-938-3302 ext. 236   RSVP is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people 55 and over. We recruit volunteers who use their skills and talents they have learned over the years, or develop new ones while serving in a variety of volunteer activities within the community. RSVP volunteers choose how, where, and how often they want to serve. Volunteers receive pre-service orientation, training from the organization where they will serve, and supplemental insurance while volunteering.

Redbank Valley Trails Association     Sandra Mateer     scmateer1@comcast.net     http://www.redbankvalleytrails.org/    Our mission is to promote the conversion, maintenance, and management of the railroad right-of-way that runs along Red Bank Creek from the Allegheny River to Brookville into the Redbank Valley Trail for recreation and fitness use. The Association shall promote preservation and protection of the natural resources found along the right-of-way and recognition of sites of historic significance. Volunteers are doing the majority of the improvement work with donations of time, material and equipment. The trail is becoming a mega trail with connections to the Armstrong Trail, the Great Allegheny Passage, Erie to Pittsburgh and possibly to Ridgway and beyond in the PA Wilds.
