The CREATE Cafe
After a year of offering the best coffee on Main St, Jodie was given an opportunity she couldn't refuse and has decided it's time to move on. Therefore, CREATE is purchasing the equipment to run the coffee bar as their own. In doing so, the decision was made to hire Chrissie and Bill to manage the cafe and gallery. They will open the doors Monday thru Friday, 7am-1pm, and will not only serve delicious coffee, but offer themselves as community organizers.
You will also notice a change in the food being offered. To keep in stride with our community pledge of offering local goods, our light menu will consist of a "best of" from the Brookville area. For instance, how about a cup of soup from the Country Club Kitchen, a muffin from Farmer's Inn, or a scone from our favorite girls at Coffee Cakes? The menu will change regularly so you never know what you'll find. Feel free to follow the cafe on facebook for daily updates. Oh, and we will continue to offer the same delicious coffee and specialty drinks that you're used to!
As far as the evenings go, we're looking to keep the cafe open with the help of volunteers. We've already had a surprising amount of community members step up and offer their time. Some will have the doors open for all to enjoy a good cup of coffee and use the free wi-fi, and others will be looking to form a new group or activity to encourage creativity in Brookville. Interested in volunteering? Let us know by completing this form. Wondering what's going on any particular evening? Check out the calendar.

CREATE's Certified Kitchen Project
Our kitchen project is under way. Once complete, we will have the opportunity to offer a certified, fully operational kitchen for use in cooking classes, canning, home-brewing, wine-making, etc... along with an opportunity for up-coming chefs to practice their skills. Interested in helping us make this happen? Please consider doing so by donating an Ace or Lowe's gift card or by donating funds to CREATE using this link. Thanks.
